RE: Would you take a doe

I would. Can't think of a better way to start the season then to gut a deer on opening day. That is unless there are some nice bucks roaming around. Then I might wait until later in the season. But I'm so pumped on opening day that a doe is right up my alley.

Definetly, It helps get the edge off, and settle the nerves by getting that first one of the season on the ground. Plus usually by the time the season comes around im fresh out of meat so i need a quick fix. Ive never been afraid to take a doe, cant eat the horns.

Yep, sure would. We can get up to 5 deer this year in my area, only one of those can be a buck. Went all last year without any venison in the freezer. Them doe tags dont taste very good.

I just picked up 10 damage tags in a residence with deer damage. I plan on shooting 10 deer. So yes, I will drop a doe without question.

I will shoot a mature doe if she gives me the chance. This may sound crazy, but sometimes I think older mature does are harder to shoot than some bucks I have seen.

[/align]NO I WOULDN'T, WELL HERE IN MEXICO, CAUSE THERE'S A BUNCH OF "OUT OF SEASON HUNTERS" AND THE BUCKS AND DOES ARE COUNTED ON PRIVATE PROPERTYS CAUSE THEY DON'T EVEN RESPECT THE PRIVATE RANCHES[:@], JUST A FEW OF PEOPLE LIKE ME AND SOME GROUPS GET TO BUY THE TAGS AND TO PAY THE HUNTING FEES.

Yes, Ihunt a managed land and we are encouraged to take does. Hopefully
I will get one early then get after the big buck during the rut.
