Best Broadhead Selection For Youth Bow?

My son will be hunting his first whitetail bow season this year. He shoots a Fred Bear Sparrowhawk with a 24" draw@ 40lbs. I'm thinking about a fixed broadhead such as aMuzzy 100 grain. Any suggestions?? Thanks in advance.....

My fiancee shoots a Hoyt MT Sport at 48 lbs., and this summer when I asked my pro shop guy about a different broadhead for her, he handed me a pack of Sonic 85 grain 1" cut. She had been shooting Rocky Mtn. Premier 75's but we always had to resight her bow for use with them. The 10 grains of more weight we had to resight with heavier field tips, but when we put the new Sonics on, she was still dead on.
I shoot the Rocky Mtn. Advantage 100's, and have ever since they came out. They fly like darts for me and have never had to move my sights with them, but it seems everybody and every bow is different.

Magnus Stinger, 100 gr. The cut on contact would help facilitate better penetration.

Took the words rightout of my mouth mobowhuntr. Those Stingers are perfect for a little arrow. My girlfriend uses them and she shoots 35#. Great little head.Reminds me of the old Fred Bear heads I used as a kid.

I bought the same Stingers for my daughter but in 85 grain. I went with the lighter head to keep all available speed. Two blade for minimal resistance and cut on contact for penetration. They fly well through my bow too.

I would suggest a small two blade cut on contact head or one of the smaller 3 blade heads now avalible. I have a couple of tests setup for low draw weight bows on my website, one isa feature of the month. Some of the better heads are the wac'ems, sonics, rocky traditions.
