target/decoy?
 
does anyone double there 3d target as decoy?i just bought the riverbottom buck by delta and have thoughts on doubling it as a decoy.anyone tried this or think it would work?also since i just bought this does anyone have any feedback on the target itself?

I don't see why not. Just take scent precautions and possibly clean it up a bit.

It would be rather clunky to pack in and out compared to a real deke .

Eddie, i did it on the last day of muzzleloader. i did not useany scent or thelegs or antlers, it looked just like a doe bedded down in high grass. Late in the evening a large doe came out of the woods right across from the decoy about 20 yards awayand snorted a few times.
As far as a target, i love it. This is the second season I have had it. My son and I only practice with broadheads andhave not had to replace the vital section yet.

i also bought the riverbottom buck target and it sucks!!! half the head fell off when i was putting the antlers in it...never again will i buy another...hope yours holds up better than mine.
