where can I find used equipment?
I have a WTB post in the classifieds section here but I am having trouble finding any other places where I can find people selling their used equipment. Right now I am looking for a 3 pin sight, mechanical wrist release, and a stabilizer, but I am planning on upgrading to a newer bow after the season. Any ideas on where to look?

I have to agree with ebay. As long as you buy from someone reputable, I don't think there's a safer way to buy used equipment. Oh, and check shipping charges before you buy. Some sellers seem to make all their profit on 'shipping'.
I got my q2 from ebay. It was 6 months old and I saved a ton! |

I agree, ebay is a good place to start but the shipping can get high like RackLuster said

Ebay, archerytalk or possibly even the local shops. I know of one of the local shops that has a 50% off bin of perfectly new, but outdated, gear.

I have a Cobra wrist release that I have not used in a few years.
PM me your address and I will send it out to you on Monday. All I ask is that when you get it pay me for the shipping;) |

Archerytalk.com in the classifieds has tons of all kinds of equipment and good deals. I have bought lots of stuff there as well as ebay. I trust archerytalk.com more.

RE: where can I find used equipment?
Hey, thanks for your input everyone. I have been checking my classifieds here but they suck for finding individual pieces of equipment. I have been watching ebay but the $5-$6 shipping charges almost offset what I would save on the part to begin with. Anyway, I will check out archerytalk and our own forum, but I wanted to thank you guys who have offered me some of your old stuff for very little or even for free. That kind of generosity is quite rare in todays world. Even though this is my first year bowhunting, I am definitly hooked for life.
