We use ATVs to get within about 500 yds max of our stands then leave them there all day but last fall one of the guys was heading in and had a deer run across the trail and stop and stare at the bike from about 20 yds. He got off it loaded his rifle slowly without looking at him directly and shot it. Who knows, I like to be at least 500 yds from mine.

I park mine under my tree stand and cover it with a camo cover. Shot many deer like this. But there are many atv's riding the logging roads all year round. It doesn't bother them.

I TRY TO PARK OUT OF HEARING DISTANCE FROM WHERE I WILL BE HUNTING ...THOSE BIG OLD BUCKS DON'T GET BIG BY BEING DUMB ...WHEN THEY HEAR THAT WING DING DING IM SURE THEY GO INTO THIER RAMBO MODE .....
