Drowning in options!! Help!!

I am looking to get a bow. I have yet to shoot anything that I didn't like, so I am trying to slim down the options based on price, maybe. I liked a couple 6 year old PSEs that I shot, both were configured different, and I was equally as accurate....causing more confusion!!

I've seen a couple of bow packages on Cabela's that run close to 350, but I have no idea if that is a good deal or a good way to purchase a bow. Any help would be appreciated. My pea size brain is about to explode.

thanks.

Here is what I would suggest:

Go to a bow shop and get measured correctl (draw length etc). Check out theie packages. Compare used bows that fit your measurements, nothing else, and see which one feels the best and has the best value.

But, make sure you get what is RIGHT for YOU.

is that something that they normally charge for? I'm not completely cheap, I just don't want to pay for something if some charge and some don't.

Is the pro shop like the golf pro shop, where you are going to pay higher buying there?? thanks again for the reply.

In some cases pro shops will charge a higher price for a given bow when compared to the mass order giants like Cabelas, Dicks, etc.. In which case though you are paying for their expertise and knowledge of bows and tuning. In the end the added cost is worth it as it saves countless headaches on the range and in the woods.

I purchased a PSE package from cabelas a couple of years ago. When I got it I took it to my local bow shop and had it set up for me. I love it and it feels great but that is JMO. I think that they are a good deal but I could be wrong it has happened before.
