practice with your jacket on

I have seen this happen to people many times, it only took me one time to know this...
A lot of guys and gals practice in warm weather with a t-shirt on etc.
then comes archery season and it gets chilli in the mornings to start and then we put a few layers of clothes on or a medium jacket and then wonder why we are not shooting the same... I always say that you should practice with a jacket and maybe a sweatshirt on under it etc.
This does make a difference in your accuracy from your anchor point to your draw length etc...
Everyone should practice this each year to see what changes may occur..
i know i do and it teaches me each time on what i need to do to keep my form correct...
who agrees with me out there.????

Hunting with a bow brings about a different challenge on every hunt!!!

Wilk, another great tip. I especially recommend this to anyone who hits their bare arm, you'll be surprised how it can throw a shot..

Thanks Wilk.

Everyone, keep them coming.

RE: practice with your jacket on

I always wear my long underwear and my long sleve camo shirt to practice and hunt in. Here in Va that is usually all I need for even a cool morning. I also found out that you use a different "techneque" when you are not dressed the same. Kinda like practicing with field points and then hunting with broadheads. Practice like you hunt!!!
