The new FOB...what do you think?
 

I was just reading an article in amagazine that was talking about this new product called the FOB ring wing, check this site out and tell me what you think. Looks a little odd to me, but who knows it may be a great product.

I would certainly give them a try. Neat idea if it works. You never know this could be the next craze.

I would love to give these a try. Need to get a drop away to work on my Oneida first, dont believe it would work on my WB.[:o] And they would have to get some to work with my UNI Bushing nocks on my aluminum arrows. [:o]Im screwed for awhile then. By the time its able to work for me, everyone will have had a review andI will know whether or not to buy them.

I think that will be the next big advancement in the archery world..............something that guides the arrow better and doesn't get ripped up like vanes and feathers.

Don't know if this is it.............and I have never tried Turbo nocks either but IMO someone is gonna hit a homerun in the next few years to change the way arrows get steared after leaving the bow. With the QuikSpins, Shrink wraps, Turbo nocks, and Blazers all being just the start.

Personnally.... I think the FOB is a POS. As I see it, even the slightest of contact would me magnified something terrible as there wouldn't be much give in it. AND, all these folks shooting a whisker bisket would find it tough to use.[&:]

They've been around for several years at least, which says volumes in and of itself if you ask me. Never have caught on for the reasons stated above. Probably meant to compete with Turbo Nocks.

I'd try them at the range. What the heck. :) First thing that comes to mind would be noise. They look like something that would whistle on the way to the target. :D

wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole. my buddy had something similar to them, and just didn't want to give them up. finally, after getting him to give vanes a try, he shot well. those things were loud and magnified any sort of contact ten fold. I'd steer clear.
