Here's a pic of my buck from last year. I think its a decent pic. The only thing I don't like is I had to fix the red eye and it turned out kinda creapy looking. Beside form that, I thought it was pretty good.
Just to get an idea of how a field pic looks over a barn pic, here are two to ompare.
Field:
And here it is in the barn.[&o]

Here's two pictures from last year deer season. The one is of my dad and I. Had to shoot a doe before we could shoot a buck cause its EAB there. Well i shot this one saturday and my bro shot the buck the following day. Tried to make them look good after seeing this post and getting a couple of ideas
The bottom is me and my dad and thetop is my bro with his 8 pt.

These are some great examples guys....thanks for sharing them!
It's nice to see that the word is getting out a bit about doing the picture thing with some attention and care.
A few of the pictures really stand out to me , especially the ones with buddies or family members sharing the picture......Theinespines3, tell me that even though that one pic is "only a doe" you won't treasure that picture the rest of your life. Look at the expression on your pop's face. Very cool.
On another note.......get off the buck there cowboy.
Keep em' coming, as well as other suggestions and even look at the pictures posted and find the faults and things you would change, because if you look closely there are "common sense" flaws in most of them that if eliminated would make an even BETTER picture.
I'll add a few examples of my own along the way as well.

Here are a few more tips to keep in mind:
*Riding deer, although fun at times, does not make for good pictures.
*Make the animal the center of attention in the photo.Hunter comes second.
*Try as best as you can to put the deer back into a natural position. Stiff hind legs or flared out front legs make the deer look un-natural and sometimes silly.
