Do you use activated carbon suits?

Ok. There has certainly been a lot of talk lately about carbon suits. This poll is NOT, let me repeat, NOT a thread as to the science of how it works, anything like that. Just if you use it or not. This could be interesting I think.

RE: Do you use activated carbon suits?

I am a 50 50 user. I try to quite but I just can't.:)

actually in the early hot part I don't use them, when it cools I use them, when it gets cold I switch to wool so don't use it again. I've taken deer when its hot, when its cool ,and when it's cold. In other words I don't see any drastic change in opportunities just cause I got suppress scent or not. Doesn't hurt anything either. Just cause I have it on doesn't guarantee success. hope this info is helpful..

Oh as an aside when I wash my hunting clothes I still wash them in tide, washed them in tide before all the scent free stuff was on the market and still do. I think everone is really over reacting to being scent free. but then I have never really had a problem getting close to a deer. I got close back in the day with red flannal shrit and blue jeans, before camo was on the market that was the hunting attire...

Watch the wind andtry to stay on the right side of it. that's the secret, not anything you can buy in a store.. good luck...

No, I bought 2 suits once, cost around $700.00 and I learned my lesson.
They seemed to work well for about 1 seasons use and then quit working.
I washed them as directed and it did not help. Honestly, I think they are a
waste of money.

How do you know they stopped working. I've had my Scentblocker suit for 3 years now and I still get carbon in my lint tray when I regenerate it. How long are they supposed to last?

I'm another of those who tried it, worked for a year and now is worthless (except as heavy camo). Won't be buying another.

I have one but I can't say that I really depend on it - it's just insurance.

This thread should get really interesting when Atlasman checks in! ;)
