spitfire xp pro
I have shot NAPspitfires for three years now out of my hoyt tenacityand love them. Have had good success with them. My question is, what is the proper way to practice with them or can you? Do you take the blades off and on the xp pro's there are those little cut on impacts on the tip. What about those. They have always flew like field points for me but i am just looking for that added confidence in the woods and don't want to leave any doubts. First post on here so thanks in advance.

RE: spitfire xp pro
I have the regular Spitfire 125s.. LOVE THEM. Last year I wanted to make sure they flew as well as the field points. So I shot one once (into a 3D buck at 30 yards) and it hit exactly where I aimed. That took care of any doubt and that arrow still cut through the deer like it was never shot.

You can also tie the blades shut with dental floss or something. However I agree, once you varify that they shoot well why abuse them? Just use field points of the same weight.
