I use a climber so I hang mine every morning and afternoon. It's good to stay mobile.

I almost always use my climber, but there are times when I hunt a few days in a row and will bring my loc-on with me in the morning, use my climber and midday go take my loc-on and put it in another location for the next day or the next afternoon should I decide to change locations.

Most of mine stay up year round. I give them a go over a month or so before season for safety an to check shooting lanes!

Hoofers

I use a climber 90% of the time. If I find a hot spot that the climber won't work I'll put in a hang on a good month before the start. I like to time it to an incoming storm to wash away the scent if I have the time. I've gotten soaked to the bone while playing ape but scored the first hunt in that location.
