winded!
 

i found a good spot that i hunted last year but i got winded a few times. their is no good way to play the wind there. the deer have literally came from every direction. i do practice scent control the best i can (refuse to pay for a scentlok suit). What else can i do about the wind????? i deffinatly want to hunt this spot. Seen a few big bucks there.

Get some altitude. Not in the tree, but head for higher ground. Move a little and catch them coming to the spot. The wind is much more consistent on top of a hill.

I was thinking the same thing, you are better offscouting up one of the trails to find better gound and miss some of the deer (comming from the other direction)than to stay there and spook all of them.
