Pa Deer Hunting..Bradford County
 

I grew up hunting deer in Bradford County Pa. I will be going back there this fall to bowhuntfor the first time in over 20 years. I plan on hunting the first week in November. As a kid the bow season did not go this late. Can I expect to catch the rut? If I recall, this is about the start of serious doe chasing. I've been living in Colorado and hunting all the big game of the west for a long time...but I sure can't wait to get back to my roots!

im from bradford county and i would have to say that the 1st and 2nd week in november is the best time to hunt.
i have a week of vacation schedualled for the first week.

where will you be hunting?

I have a patch of about 85 acres in southeast part of the county, in Canton. I also have this week off work to hunt. The deer are moving pretty good during this timeframe. Where will you all be hunting?

I'll be hunting on the Cahill Mtn just out of the town of Overton which is where my father lives. Have you ever been in the Mtn House? My stepbrother own that establishment.
