Nice pics
Too bad you cant take him. Thanks for sharing, what camera did you use? Jim |
RE: Big 6 point
Thanx for sharing the pic.You dont see to many big 6 pointers running around, and he is a nice one.
Just think how big he will be next year if no one shoots him. |
RE: Big 6 point
That's a nice 6pt buck especially for 2B.

RE: Big 6 point
Great picture, looks like he's got some meat on him, too.
|
RE: Big 6 point
thats a nice buck, that stinks about the AR though. He needs culled.
|
RE: Big 6 point
Its a Leaf River Digital camera. Maybe he'llgrow a little spike out of the base of his rack and I'll get a chance to take him out. I have another small5 point that was around last year too. Nothing you can do with them though.

great pics...thanks for sharing.

RE: Big 6 point
OUCH.. that 6 is nice.. If I saw him over here (3 point AR) he'd be on my list. Sucks that he couldn't grow a little drop tine or something for you.

RE: Big 6 point
One that looked just like that would have been my first muzzleloader kill last fall......except for that same darn rule....
Nice deer...thanks for sharin!! |
RE: Big 6 point
Thats for sure.. If he was in 5D where I am.. Hed be a dead buck and fast!

RE: Big 6 point
if that buck was 3 1/2, i'd say cull him, if i was on private land. Bad genetic in the herd that 3X3 rack is. This a perfectly good reason why AR's don't work. This buck could potentially be passing on those crappy genes because everyone is whacking the 1 1/2 and 2 1/2 year old 8 points. AR's are just a temporary solution that will fail in the long term. If people would just show restraint, they'd have some bigger bucks.

RE: Big 6 point
That buck is the classic example of what a cull buck is. I would shoot him on site. I was sitting in one of my stands overlooking a pond and protein feeder the other day and had 2 different six pointers come in. One I figure is 2 1/2 and the other I feel is 4 1/2. Needless to say both of them are going down asap. Its kinda disappointing to see two 6's out of the same blind on the same day. Luckily that dosent happen very much.

RE: Big 6 point
