Pop a Squat, congratulations, way to go that is a dandy buck, one to be proud of. What's next for this buck, shoulder mount, texas mount, plaque?

Just goes to show, when you let the small ones walk, you might be rewarded with a dandy. Most guys would have filled their tag on the 6 pt and would have never known a bigger buck was following. That's how it goes so many times.....

Way to hold out and congrat's again on the buck, great story, I like the part with the spider web, everything about the hunt is a great experience.....I really like the first photo, and the second, well, nice but cherish the first.....

I'm proud of you!

Pop-A-Squat first let me give you a big congrats on a nice buck! Now I would like to compliment you on your writing style, it is excellent and as Rob/PA Bowyer said the part about the spider spinning his web was great. So many non-hunters have no idea of what we see in the woods, nor what we learn about the entire cycle of life. A huge part of the joy of hunting does not involve killing at all, but being one with nature, like you I have watched spiders, birds, squirrels, the woods wake up and the woods go to sleep, so many people have no idea what they are missing.
