I shoot a G2 SL, I'm pretty sure it goes at least 183. lol:) Anyway I haven't used the chrono, but it shoots flat and is accurate.

Have a friend that has one and we chronoed his at 238 fps the bow was maxed at 70lbs and a 29" draw not for sure on the arrow weight but the arrow was a 28.5" Blackhawk camo Vapor with a 100gr field tip so I am guessing the weight to be around 400gr.

That was probably my only beef with the G2 I owned a few years back. It was easy to tune, very quiet to shoot and accurate in my hands but the speed rating was way off what I was getting out of the bow. At a 30.5 inch draw length and a 70 pound draw weight with a 350 grain arrow (bare string) I think I was pushing 302 fps while the bow was advertised at 309 fps. With an extra half inch of draw I should have been shooting around 314 not 302.
But, like I said, the rest of the shooting experience was very pleasurable. |

At over 300 fps, are you complaining about 7 fps?

Chronied mine the other day and it read 245fpS (63LBS). Of course after that it went of the scale readign as high as 955fps :) So notsure how accurate this is.

My old G2, set at 67# draw weight, 29" draw length, shooting 28" CX200's weighing 386 grains was averaging 268fps. That was with a D-Loop, peep and leaches on the string. That was plenty fast enough to harvest several deer plus the bow was pretty quiet.
