I am just guessing, but from what I read earlier the hunter had permisson as long as he was with someone. I have the feeling that under crossexamination the landowner finally admitted the truth.

That's awesome. I remember ready the story and it made me sick to see how the land owner reacted. And personally, I could give a rat's arse how much they are worth. They would be priceless hanging on my wall!

I remember hearing about this and am glad it worked out the way it did. It's amazing what people will do over a big set of bone. I guess it's safe to bet he won't ever get permission to hunt the land again. :eek:
