Whitetail setup???

This year im shooting my Bowtech Allegiance, 29 inch draw, 67lbs, with a Drop Zone rest. I know what Id like to shoot for arrows, but want to know if anyone has any advice if I should change anything.. I want to shoot the new Easton Axis ST Obsession shafts, 4 inch Quick Spin vanes, Lumnenock, cut to 29 1/2 inches. Now Im not sure of what to shoot for a broadhead, 100 grain or 125 grain, and not sure if I want to shoot mechanicals or fixed blade heads. Im thinking about the Slick Trick 100 gr heads, but Ive read that a lot of people say they are dull. This setup should be fairly fast and I dont know how fixed blades will shoot at 280 fps or faster. What does everyone think of this arrow choice, and what should I shoot on the end of it. Im not sure about the spine of this arrow so Im not sure of what head weight to shoot, and I dont know much about this front of center thing. So any help is appreciated. Thanks

Sorry I forgot to tell you a shaft size, I plan on the 400s. Also does anyone know if they will stay in most quivers, or are they too small diameter? Thanks

I don't see a problem with your arrow selection. I personally shot mechanicals for three years and just went back to Muzzy 3 blades last year and don't see me ever going back to mechanicals again. I just loved the penetration that the Muzzy's gave me.

I don't see a problem with your arrow selection either though I would stick with the 100 grain heads as I believe you are going to need a fairly stiff spine with that setup on that bow. I have not had any problems with the Slick Tricks either.

You may be a little underspined. The chart calls for a 340, but you are right on the borderline. I don't have any experience with the Axis, so I can't speak intelligently on those, in my mind I don't like the inserts. As far as broadheads go, my bow kicks arrows in the 290 region, and both Muzzy 100 gr 4 blade and 100 gr Magnus Stinger fly very well out of my setup.
