Nice deer. As long as it was a clean kill.

Good job.

Don't go apologizing 'cause it wasn't with a bow! It's not how you shoot 'em, it's how you hunt them. I take 2or 3 with a bow every year, and I continue to hunt the gun season the same way and take 90% within bow range. I don't get off on the ego trip of having to put a deer down because of what i shot him with. I can kill 'em with a bow, rifle, handgun, shotgun, and muzzle loader, and am equally proud of each one.
Very well said. Why people post a pic of their deer and start their story by degrading their harvest is beyond me. As long as it was killed legally you owe no one an explanation. 95% of the gun deer I have killed in my life were in bow range (I live in a shotgun state).

Nice buck dude.........congrats on your first of what I hope is many more to come. Hunt for yourself...............not others.

The deer was taken in central Kentucky where I am from. Stats on the deer is 139 2/8 did not weigh him but he went every bit of 230

That's weird, I was guessing Kentucky..... It just looked like a Kentucky buck!!
