Congrats, good luck on it. What exactly is a quota hunt?
Well theres Quota hunts and Special Opportunity Quota hunts. The only difference is that Special Opportunity is for bow hunting and Regular Quota hunts are for rifle, and muzzleloaders. What a Quota hunt is that there is public land lets say 700,000 acres. Well this land is restricted for walk in. Which means u cant just go in there and hunt even tho its public land. So they have lets say 150 permits for the archery season so u send ina application and if they draw u u get to hunt that land on the dates given to u.

Well im going hunting strickly for white-tail deer. BUT if a nice hog walks out in front of me i think i will be 2 tempted and have to go for it. :D
