i'd do like art said, but you don't have to cut them, just fold the strip in half before starting and you'll end up with puff balls.

I used too shoot without any silencers. bought an $8 piar of string leeches and now my bow is better than ever

im with gibblet and aurther here however i separate my string just like you do for a peep sight and place them inbetween the fibers of the string then i tie them off using a little bit of serving thread. works great my bk is very very quiet i also have this done on my cable as well. very hardy set up like this.
