Why waste it? Use it till it's gone.
I had one in my living room and eventually it just ran out and evaporated. The batteries also died at the same time(cheapos) so I just replaced the batteries and am going to soak the bottle.

It's a good idea, but it's the same theory Thermacell uses for their scent dispenser. It's the same thing as the mosquito repellent but it dispenses deer lure instead.
Your idea is probably cheaper though, so good deal.

I am thinking this could put out a nice amount of scent into the air .

After I get it cleaned and set up I think I will put it in front of a trail cam to see if the deer like my idea.

I can't wait to hear of the story of the monster buck that comes strolling in to find out where that doe is. He finds the source and smells the fan and "WHAM!" the fan goes on and gets him in the nose. That would be one for the videos.

Ok, I'll be the voice of doubt here.
Your idea is ingenious. I really do think it will work fine....BUT...I have one of those Oust fans here at home and it doesn't blow hard enough to even feel the air moving. I realize that it wont take much to get the scent in the air. The fan dosen't blow hard enough to disperse more than a light breeze would.
A stronger fan would work wonders.
