Stealth Cam 35mm

I wanted to buy a stealth cam 35mm trail camera but I heard that they make a noise when they take a picture and if that would affect the deer. Any opinoins?

If you are talking about the basic MC2G model then I highly doubt it. Deer do seem to notice the camera but, in my opinion, don't seem to react poorly to it. There is a slight noise but I highly doubt is scares them.

I use the same camera your talking about & they sure know something happened but if you set it to sit for 5 minutes or so between pics & only take one at a time its just fine. At first I set it for 2 pics and I'd get one of relaxed deer & another of them walking away looking back. I think the second one clinched it & they split. Then I switched it to only one pic & 5 minutes apart & I'v gotten several pics of the same deer sometimes theyve hung around for hours. They likely spaz out for a second at the shutter click but if nothing happens they seem to get over it. Thats my story anyway & I'm sticking to it.;)
