RE: Decided !
Great choise. I just bought a Reflex Excursion 2 weeks ago. I love this bow. Very quiet. Seems faster then the advertised 295fps. I only got the 50 to 60 pull weight, don't really need any more then that here. Make sure you get the draw length setup for you correctly at the shop. I had to redo mine once I got home. I was set at a draw length of 29" on my PSE Nova, but on this bow I had to set the length to 30".
Congrats Muratus |
RE: Decided !
Definitely a big congrats. You did make a good choice. As for arrows...ACCs are highly regarded for their consistant weight, spine and straightness though they can be quite expensive. I would also suggest checking out some of the other ICS style carbons like Carbon Express, Beman, Carbontech and the various Easton lines.
Good luck and have fun with the new bow. |
RE: Decided !
Congrats on the new bow. My son will be getting that exact bow sometime in the next month.
According to the handy dandy chart, you should shoot a 3-71 if you will be pulling above 66 pounds. Below that the chart calls for a 3-60. IMO, it is better to be a little overspined rather than under, so if it were me, I would go with the 3-71. |
RE: Decided !
I was impressed with the reflex bows. I recently looked a several of them along with Bowtech, diamond and even a few Mathews. I went with a Hoyt V-Tec but the Reflex timberwolf was a tempting alternitive.
