Big Daddy makes an appearance....
 

Well, it would seem that I finally have a really big daddy buck wondering around in one of my hunting areas. A few days ago one of the regulars came into the shop and informed me that he saw five bucks crossing the road not too far from one of my favorite stand areas. He mentioned that there was a 6, two 8's, a 10, a 12 and one buck that he stopped counting points at 19. I was a bit skeptical as I have never really seen that caliber of buck there at least in those types of numbers.

Luckily though I had one of my stealth cams located near the area he mentioned. I retrieved the film from it yesterday and had it developed today. It looks like Big Daddy finally made an appearance. I count 15 points though not all are scoreable. Guess I have the opportunity to be a contender for the big buck contest this year....:D

All you folks are always welcome to hunt with me if you are in the neighborhood...though you have to be able to tolerate other hunters within sight of your stand. ;)

Awsome pics Frank. That looks alot like the big buck I have been following except the one I have been following is now a typically 10 and he has a little more tine-length. I saw him last night while spotting at about 10 yards and stupid me had forgot my camera.

I hope you put your tag in that buck Frank, there is nobody on this board that would deserve that buck more than you. May all the good deeds you have done for everyone come back and reward you with that brute this year.;)

Very nice! As I recall the "Pennsylvania crew" commanded a lot of respect in the contest last year.

That's a hell of a rack he's got going sofar. I'm especially impressed because he dosen't appear to be an extremely old animal.

I'm sure you're chomping at the bit to get ito your stand this fall. Hopefully you'll be on my team and you'll cross pass with this buck again. Or better yet, you'll envite your team mates to come hunt with you.;)

Thanks guys. He sure is a dandy. Knowing my luck though this is probably the only time I will see him. ;) I am going to try to post a few more pics from the cam in different threads. I still don't know why the pictures won't go through.

Thanks for the offer. I think I may have figured out the problem...my hosting site doesn't offer the link as a "jpg" or "gif". It just doesn't list what type of file it is even if it is a jpeg. Therein lies the problem as I believe hunting.net's "image" code requires it. The "2nd buck" thread worked out ok though when I downsized the file and embedded it. Thanks again for the offer.
