new Bowhunting toy - thanks Cabela's

I use a Cabelas card - 1% cash back, this camera i got for less than 1/2 price and with some of the great photos i COULD have taken in the field ........ now I will be able to. And the movie mode with a 256 mg card should also see me posting some great stuff this fall. last year I saw a 160" 10 pointer mounting a doe, at about 75 yards, and a huge 180" + buck - both I could have had photos of had I taken a camera like this along.

Nice Camera. I do not think it was out a few months ago when I was shopping for a new digital camera. The combination of the high optical mag. and high resolution must have made it fairly expensive....;).

So did you actually buy this from Cabelas or just with the card? I know they sell digital cameras but since you only said 1% I have to assume you bought it elsewhere.

By the way, if you haven't done so already, once you have your Cabelas Visa for two years then call them up and ask to get the Gold card. It does not cost you a cent andyou get triple the points from any Cabelas purchase. ;)

I did not know you could get triple points with a gold card. I have the regular one and use it to buy EVERYTHING, groceries, gas, etc to build up those points!

Those long shots are real hard to have come out clear. When you are zoomed in over 6+ power you really need the cam on a tripod. The slightest movement on your or their part results in a horrible pic. I have my shutter speed turned all the way up and it helps somewhat.

Good luck and I look forward to some great pics to come!

Hmmm, boockoo bucks for the camera....times three because of the Gold Card....I am guessing you received somewhere between 12 and 15 dollars worth of Cabelas points for that purchase. Nicely done. ;)
