I am not a fan of the H.I.T. system, but the arrows are pretty!

285 fps with a 460 grain arrow....those things are COOKIN!!!

Beautifull arrows!Antler just courious what don't you likeabout the HIT system?Reason I ask is I was thinking about buying some skinny's,and maybe putting some of those blazer vanes on them. Also can those skinny's take helic fletched vane or do ya have to stay with the 2 degree offset? One more question;what is the straightness tollerance?I know the axis is around three thousands of an inch maybe 5 thousands?

thats a cool fletching combo you dont see all the time
how come you didnt throw the big 5 inch ones on there
Don't need them. 3 inchers fly just fine out to 40 at least (that's as far as I can shoot in the back yard). Plus they are much quieter in flight than the 5 inchers.

Alright Mike, those are some pretty lung busters there!

I gotta ask-
Your Pat seems much faster than mine which makes me wonder-what stringsyou are shooting??
Dave it's a custom 12 strand made by a local guy. I also only have a loop and cat whickers cut down to about golf ball size on the string, the Bowtech silencer thingies have been long gone. 30" DL and 71.5# helps out too.

Thanks! I'm curious too as to what you don't like about the HIT system AE? Mine are fletched with a helical clamp and a right offset, sorry I don't know what degrees, I just adjust the clamp to get the most that I can. Straightness is slightly better than the ACC, and well above all pure carbon shafts that I have seen.

Straightness - .002" MAX Guaranteed
Weight Tolerance - 0.5 grains per dozen

Compared to the AXIS shafts

Straightness - .005" MAX Guaranteed
Weight Tolerance - 2.0 grains per dozen

Those are some beautiful arrows and some pretty impressive numbers. I didn't do the KE for your setup but considering a 460 grain arrow at 285 fps.....woooo dogggy!:)
