NAP Nitons

I was thinking about trying the nitrons out, but I wanted other users feedback on them. all will help.

They're good broadheads, really sharp, but pretty darn small. I've used both the Nitrons and the Sonics, and I prefer the Sonics, if you insist on a small diameter broadhead. I found that the Sonics fly more accurately, were even sharper, and produced a better bloodtrail. However, the Nitrons are definitely a good broadhead. You wouldn't go wrong with them.

I used the nitrons last fall and was really impressed with them. They do look pretty small at first glance with only a 1 1/16" cut, but they fly awesome and are sharp as h*ll :D. Iended up takingtwo deer with them...on the first one I grazed the shoulder and had one of the blades break off but the deer only went 40 yds. and crashed. The nitron took out ribs on each side of the body on the second one and broadhead was still razor sharp when I retrieved it. The arrow went through him so quickly that he had no idea what had hit him and ended up going about 70 yds.The bloodtrail was just as heavy as any that I've ever seen from the100-grain Thunderheads that I used to use. They may be small...but they're deadly on deer and will definately be in my quiver again this season along with some slicktricks.

I have not used them for hunting yet but I picked up a pack a few months ago to tinker with after reading 5shot's report. So far I am relatively impressed with them. Enough to consider that they might be in my quiver come this fall.
