I don't mean to jump in your good nature Buckeye, but I have this sitting around collecting dust .this just seem's to be the right time to help someone out.

Hey buckeye- you are an awesome guy. Giving away stuff like that to up and coming archers. If nobody else wants the nitro lights I would be happy to take them off your hands. I've got a matrix I can use them in. If someone else wants them though give them it that person. If not then I will be happy to take them. I've gotta run right now so I'll send you a PM tonight or tomorrow.

RE: Some free archery gear for some beginners

I just realized I had better reply in case anyone thought I was serious about wanting anything. I was only joking about the quiver and rest.

My wife would love it if I would get rid of the tons of extra archery items I have. I keep talking about putting it on Ebay but never get around to it. Maybe this approach buckeye is using to help out others is another option that would be less hassle. Great idea.

Good Deal Buckeye-help those kids that need it. I just outfitted my 15 year old foster daughter with a new Compound & the works & plan on taking her & my Daughter (a Nurse) on their 1st Bowhunting trip this fall.
I have been fortunate in all my years & now trying to make it just a little better for those a little less fortunate. I took 2 of my past boys to Texas & Oklahoma on Bowhunting trips & another youth also. It is something kid's will always remember.

RE: Free gear for beginners

Hello my family and I are just starting to get into archery and saw a post from buckeye (?) about giving away some free gear to beginners. how do I contact you?

kellyguinn 07-13-2017 10:48 AM

Hate to tell you but that original thread was from 2005. He has probably already gotten rid of it by now. You could always send him a private message and ask him though......scratch that. He hasn't been on here since 2014.

Topgun 3006 07-13-2017 11:30 AM

Amazing how these newbies bring these old dead threads up and can't look to see that they are sometimes over a decade old like this one was and that the person hasn't been on for years. Maybe as newbies they don't know how to look that stuff up that is old hat for us old timers!

Oldtimr 07-13-2017 01:18 PM

Hint for occasional posters, look at the posted date before you respond.

North Mountain Gear 07-15-2017 04:15 AM

Buckeye, Keep up the good work. Giving this stuff to people in need is awesome. Thanks
