ARE READY FOR SEASON TO OPEN ALREADY?!!

Gee wiz ........I have memorized my Bass Pro and Cabelas archery catalogs, watched every movie I have like twice, never change the channel off of Sportsman Channel, read every book I own......again......shot, shot, and shot some more, hung stands, tuned arrows.....Come on, let's get it on!!!

Not just yet, I sure want it to be but I have a lot to prepare for. Packing in a couple miles for a elk hunt is not something you just put together over night.

It can become even worse. You could be "stuck" working in an archery pro shop all day having to deal with other hunters reminisce about last year's hunts and the potential for the upcoming season. ;)

Not even close.

I just had the strings replaced on my bow last week.

I've spent a total of two whole hours scouting this season.

I have yet to hang a stand.

I'm starting to feel a little behind this year.

Cant start yet. I havent got my new bow in yet. I'm not ready.

Actually I wouldn,t even start hunting until late october when the weather cools a bit. But to make sure no one is getting in my stands I start opening day. I do hang my stands and cut lanes about the middle of Aug.

Nope .
I have bulging disk that I need to be taken care of first .
May not even get to hunt this fall.

Bummer! You could always be a guide to another hunter. Maybe a new one. There's time. You'll be out there and the excitment can be as good or better. Hope you make it.

All I need to do is reactivate my Scent-Lok and ScentBlocker layers and I'm good to go! Come on Oct.1-Jan 12!

i can't wait until the season opens but i'm not quite ready physically. i still need to scout a few farms, moves some stands, cut some shooting lanes, and continiue shooting my bow. but my spirits are ready :D

I was born ready, My season is so long that I dont realy get hunting tell the weather cools off, mid October, and the grouse and woodies get good. That is my delema the Deer hunting is good right at the say time as small game and I love both. I gues I will just have to not work this fall, and take less classes.
