Do you prefer a detachable or 2 peice quiver

I was just wondering what everybody here likes. Reasons why you prefer one please. I bought my first detachable quiver this year, but dont really prefer one over the other.

Detacheable.Simply because I don't like to shoot with a quiver attached. I haul my arrows to my stand that way, and have an extra bracket screwed to the tree where I then hang my quiver.

detachable, I do shoot with it on always, but it just a convinence thing. all though I herd that a good 2 piece is quieter.

I have a detachable but I've never had a 2 piece. I take mine off when I shoot and also when I'm in my stand.

yeah that's how i am. all i've ever had is the detachable. it seems to work and it's nice to be able to take it off especially when your in tight spaces.

I've always hunted with a quiver attached. I use a 2 piece on my Martin and there is absolutely no noise. I've shot a few deer and a couple of coyotes from the ground including my 2 best bucks. In a couple of cases I only had time to nock an arrow, aim and shoot after spotting an animal while walking in, so shooting with the quiver attached was very natural and balanced.

detachable for me. I shoot the mathews outback and had the mathews 2 piece and found out it made alot of noise when shot with no arrows in the quiver.

This season for my stand and blind hunting I will be using the new TR Ridge Hunter quiver. This is an awesome product! Many have long considered the Mathwews quivers as the best of the best and now the Trophy Ridge version has taken quiver design to the next level! It's a super quiet, rock solid design and the new Snubber Strap means that you will never lose another arrow again. I love the quiver and couldn't be happier with it's quality!

2 piece on all of my bowtechs. Quiet, solid, and does not affect accuracy for me.

I have used both styles and prefer the 2 piece. I currently use an Alpine Soft-Loc 2 piece and it is quiet as can be. I leave my quiver on in stand (obviously)...it has never bothered me a bit to leave it on. Some say they remove theirs because it is "easier" and more convenient, but to me taking it off just creates one more piece of equipment to keep up with. If you need a follow up shot, your arrows are in a different place...

A 2 piece is far quieter...

I will second that!! I could not even imagine going back to a detachable.

Detachable quiver as I primarily hunt out of either a blind or treestand and never spot and stalk.

I had a 2 piece on my old AR and it was fine. I switched to the Alpine Softlok quiver last year and absolutely love it...

2 piece for me. I hope to pick up a 2 piece TR Ridgehunter for this season. I don't like the idea of changing the setup with taking the quiver on and off.

I guess I'm one of the only guys that DOESN'T like the Alpine softlok quiver. For one it takes two hands to take your quiver off your bow. So you have to have your bow hanging when doing so. When mine got wet it squeeked a little bit when taking the quiver out and when putting it back in. Also, when it got cold out....the rubber got harder and was more difficult to take out. Just my two cents. At this point, I'm going to take a look at either a Kwikee or Bohning quick release quivers.

I've always preferred either back quivers (catquiver) of a quickee style that detaches when you get into the tree stands. Reasons are the extra weight, it tips the balance of the bow a bit, can be a bit awkward .....

Anyway, I have a Hoyt Gamemaster. They can be a bit noisy. I have a very nice 2 piece Hoyt quiver that I placed on it and it seems to quiten the bow a bit somehow. Also, the added weight isn't a huge deal and I cant the bow a bit to the right anyway. So for this particular setup ..... I like the 2 piece bow mounted quiver

Don't worry...I am not a big fan of this quiver either.

The 2 piece quivers of today are mounted so close to the riser that it really doesn't affect the way my bow shoots at all. If I happen to take it off during the summer, I notice no diffence in feel.

Alpine 5 arrow detachable quiver. I love it because I can shoot with it on or off, doesn't matter. I like the detachable because it gives me more movement and extra comfort in a treestand.

I prefer the detach models....... Never could get used to shooting with the quiver on. Plus, when sitting in your lap it gets in the way IMO....... Been hunting this way for going on 15 years and never had a problem

I too have used both for a number of seasons, even tried the hip quiver. Once I made the switch to a two piece I never went back to the detachable. For me it nevermade a noticeable difference in my shooting.

While I do understand the convenience of not havingtheshafts attached to the bow in a tree or in the ground blind (where the arrows can be in the way), there have been times when I have been presented with a second shot [&:], on those rare occasions, one can get off a second arrow, in that critical window of time, with much less movement, andmuch swifter. Also, for me anyway, where the two piece really shines is when one is chasing elk in the mountains. Less noise, lower profile, and quicker to get set up...of course I know those Primos boys would argue with me on that one :D....

I use a detachable quiver. I leave it on when I hunt but take it off when I put my bow away. I use a soft case and I don't even think it would fit with the quiver attached much less with arrows on it.

When I go hunting I just take the quiver (full of arrows) out of the arrow box thats in the side pocket of mycase, put it on the bow and go.

Neither, I hate a bow mounted quiver. I use a Catquiver. Thinking about trying a hip quiver to see if I like it.

I really like the good-ol Kwikee Kwiver.Easy to put on and take off,and durable.
As soon as I get to my stand or blind the kwiver comes off.
