Good tip for mechanical shooters...
Sometimes I ignore the obvious. How many times have you guys got into your stand before daylight and when daybreaks, you look at your arrow only to find the rubber band has broken and your blades are hanging out. The only way to fix it is to remove your broadhead.
At the proshop the other day I watched as some arrows were being assembled for customers and noticed the pro was putting a "spare" rubberband on the shaft, ready to roll up over the blades in the event your first one breaks...Now why didn't I think of that?... Good Luck all...Fletch KEEP THE WIND IN YOUR FACE.... FLETCH |
RE: Good tip for mechanical shooters...
Thats a good idea! I'm trying the snypers this year , but I carry a spitfire in my quiver for that reason. When it's cold , I dont think my fingers would function enough to slide another tiny rubber band on anyway<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>
