Dream Season
 

Wow...I dont understand the team pickings. The pros had me scratching my head. I recognized the one team from the Biologic Challenge but the other pros were no-namers. Wheres Reisner & O'Dell? Didnt they say they would come back and do it again in 04? I kinda liked the format better from last year. I'll still watch though. :D

On their web sites the have biographies about all the team members. I am soo pumped that it is back on.I just watched both shows that I taped and I know it is gonna be a great season.

I am a bit confused. I thought this post was going to be about a hunting video series but it sounds like some sort of competition. What gives?

Dream season is the show on the Outdoor CHannel that is basically a contest. Drury and Scentlocker did it last year for the first time, and the second season just started.

OLN does not carry the show. I have found that OLN is nothing compared to The Outdoor Channel. But if you don't get Outdoor Channel and OLN is better than nothing.

I like the show but I was hacked that the school prinicipal and his wife that didn't kill and animal on film were the runners up. They must have had every student from their school system voting for them mulitple times because they didn't deserve to win (which they almost did). JMO I am looking forward to this season though!

I kinda liked them. They had a tough run at it. His wife stuck one before the competition just like Reisner but the guy missed one and had his stand stolen. They had good footage but they shouldnt have been in 2nd. Shoulda been John Frank and Phillips.

Thanks IBM. I remember the description vaguely from last year but did not know that "dream season" is what it was called. I don't get the Outdoor Network...:(

I think the husband and wife team were good. I think alot of people can relate to the hardships they had which I believe is what made them soo popular. Even though their bag limits weren't great they had interesting stories and footage. I know I voted for them last year on the online poll. But that is MHO.

I voted for O'Dell and Reisner, although after watching the entire first season on DVD I wish I had voted for Irish and Bothun. Those guys are about my age and have very similar attitudes and hunting styles as me. I don't think I gave them a fair shake last year. :(

This season should be pretty good. Although those of us with Whitetail Madness 8 and Dream Season 8 already have at least somewhat of a sneak peak into this season.

I respect your vote and your right to vote however you want to but the show was called DREAM SEASON. It was about who had a dream season not who had a crappy season and didn't prove they could hunt their way out of a sack season but still managed to lay down a little footage:([:'(][&:][8D]. They may be awesome hunters but they certainly didn't prove it last year and IMO to vote for them would have been insulting to the guys who really did have a dream season and EARNED the victory. Obviously a lot of people were symathetic to them but I am not one of them. Apparently those people could identify with things going wrong and not killing deer etc. and I guess we all can to some extent but that certainly doesn't merit a victory. IMO you have to earn those and they failed to do that. If they would have one it would have been a gift not something they deserved IMO.

I am with you. I actually voted noth ways because both of those teams had a tremendous year but I kind of think Irish and Buthon should have one.
