I have been lucky, I have limited on my 5 deer the last few years. Then I usually party hunt and help others out.

I usually get 1 buck and at least 2 doe with my bow. Then a couple more doe in ML and shotgun season. A few counties in Maryland have an unlimited doe limit so it makes it pretty easy to take as many as you can. I have passed up some shots waiting for Mr.Big but I think this year I will try to tag a doe every time I go out and donate the meat to the FHFH.

I replied with 2 simply because I typically am lucky enough to take a buck and a doe on a semi-regular basis. If not a buck and a doe each season then two does.

Here GA.your allowed 10deer a yr but that number seems to change every other yr. 2-bucks and 8-does But I only take 4 or 5 on ave.Last yr I took 4-deer total. 2 bucks a 2 does. Which is plenty for my family and myself.However? I could take another doe or twobut I Just don`tsee the need.

I typically kill about 6 ayear. I have a few people that want a deer every year or I probably wouldn't kill that many. But by the time a give a deer to one of the guys I work with, one to my neighbor, and one to my in-laws (which I pay the processing on[:'(]). I need to kill 5 or 6 to have enough meat for the year.
