First Harvest - Commemorative Display Case
Just came in today. This is not the final look of this. Will try to do this also when he takes a deer someday. But you will get the first look. Have to add a few items, put a wall hanger on it and put some finishing touches to it. Measures 18” x 36”. This is from his first harvest of a wild turkey. Has the following items shown. Tag Missouri Department of Conservation Magazine for April Missouri Department of Conservation First Turkey Award National Wild Turkey Federation Record Missouri Department of Conservation Spring Pamphlet Newspaper Article Magazine with his Picture Picture of his harvest Missing items that will be added. Thats a awesome way 2 commeroate a hunt. I like that idea alot i wish i woulda done that with my 1st deer :(.

That definitely is a beautiful looking display. I am sure it will be appreciated in the years to come. I wouldn't mind putting something like that together for my son when he takes his first animal...though the press clipping might prove difficult...;)

Was it your child that tagged the bird?
I can imagine everytime the hunter looks at that they will be right back in the woods, breathing heavy, wide eyed as the tom gobbles and works his way closer. I can't think of a better way to comerate a hunt. |
