Default string nock?

I may need to put this in a diffeent forum, but I think I remember some of you guys talking about how you have a "string nock" ( I think thats the name of it) on your bowstring instead of a brass nock or string loop. I was wondering what were the major advantages and disadvantages of using this and if there was a site you could go to to tell you what kind of string to use and how to tie it. Thanks

I don't use one but the advantages would be it is lighter and maybe easier to adjust.

I think most pple use them because they are lighter and are a little easier on your serving.

Here is a link that shows you how to tie one on.
