Tim Buck Tu in Maryville, IL
 

Has anyone been to Tim Buck Tu in Maryville, IL? I went there for the first time yesterday and it is a great place. I love the indoor shooting range. They have some 3d targets you can setup and shoot. They also have some tree branches that I think you can put infront of the targets for fun. It's a great place. The only thing bad about it is the price. Sure $10 a day is great, but I am only 10 minutes away! :D

I think I've heard of it before but I've never been there. I'm only a little over an hour away so it wouldn't be a bad drive. I usually shoot in my back yardand every now and then I'llgo to one of the local sporting goods stores and shoot there 3D targets that are projected onto a projector screen. They usually knock a couple of bucks off because I know them so it's not too pricey.

Your down by Edwardsville. Never been to that town, but your not too far from me, only about 2 hours, maybe more. Where you headed after your stay there?

I'm headed back home. Yea, they are nice people. They don't charge me for use of their 3d targets yet.

Zak did you drive there all the way from Mississippi"?If so, man you crazy:DAllthough southern Il is not to far from many southern states.I am from near where GPS and Fords lives(Benton)but live here in the northern part of the state,From where I live Mis is a loooong drive.Where GPSand Fords lives it's six hours from me.

Where do you live drstalker? It takes me 4.5-5 hours to get to Chicago, so I'm guessing you live over near Rockford??

They've got a real nice shop there. I go to school at SIUE and have been to Timbuktu a few times. It's a nice shop and a bunch of real friendly people work there. Everytime I've been there I've ended up shooting one of their bows. And they're always willing to help you out with form and your setup.

I shoot there quite a bit. They are a great bunch of guys—very helpful and very knowledgable.

They have quite a few shooters there—it can get crowded on the weekends—so I'd suggest trying to get there as soon as they open their doors on Saturdays.
