Yes folks,it is comming or maybe already in,in your area ? IMO,all the things you buy and try{ scent blockers,lures,grunts, camo patterens,boots}, are just making some body rich!!!!
These people know just how much you desire to get a deer and will tell you anything to get your money,and lots of it !
There is only one true LURE,for deer hunting. It is known as woodsmenship. If you know and understand your quarry,it is yours! Too many hunters ar looking for "LUCK IN A BOTTLE" ?

I have use scents, scentloc suites, calls, and everything else. I have found in my personal experience that about the only really consistant product that has helped me kill more deer are grunt and bleat calls. The other products can and do help once and a while, but I am not sure any of them have ever made a true differnce in the outcome of a hunt for me.

Woodsmanship is way more important than anything you can buy at the hunting store.

My-O-My ! I thought, for the life of me,that this thread,would get something started. O-well,it is still early !

Buying all the newest do-dads for hunting is just like the public education system. If it ain`t working, you just have`nt dumped enough money into it yet!<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>
I do agree with mounting man though, alot of this stuff available to archers today is little more than a gimic. But if I don`t spend all my money on all the new stuff, I might have to take the wife to the beach, or some equally boring place!

All the gadgets are tools of the trade.

Do you NEED them...no.

Do you have to get them to get your deer?...no.

The right tools make any job easer.

You can drive a nail with a big rock but a claw hammer shure works better!

Amen Mountingman, I've scared a lot more of em off using the latest and greatest products. I'm with you and huntinfool. I have used the scent away products when I had to, the &quot;scent shield&quot; products in my opinion are far superior. (That ought to stir trouble huh) Go scent free and be sucessfull..Fletch
