Tuning

I have read about several techniques you should do to tune your bow. Out of paper tuning, bare shaft tuning, broadhead tuning, creep tuning, micro tuning, and fine tuning which do I really need to do? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you've got the time, Zak, do them all.

RE: Tuning

This is the hunting thread , so broadhead tunning should be your finale step .

IMO, paper tuning is the best. Shoot from several distances, and get perfect holes. Then, of course you need to shoot your broadheads to ensure good flight, but if you have paper tuned properly, and installed the broadhead properly, they should fly true with minimal, if any adjustment.

RE: Tuning

Tuning is more important than just about everything because it affects accuracy as well as how much energy it has when coming into contact with an animal. I reccomend taking your bow to the best bow shop in your area and asking them to check timing. I have noticed that these bows often comeun tuned even though the factorydoes it on brand new bows( Even solo cams and cam 1/2s). once that is done paper tune your bow and the finally check broadhead flight which should not be affected much.
