Apx 600 acres, all private (old family land). Hunt it mainly by myself, my nephews & brother sometimes hunt w/me.
Maybe 15 acres of woods, 60-70 acres of corn this year, sometimes beans, the rest all fields overgrown in Pine & Sweetgum thats extremely thick, with a foodplot here & there.

RE: How many acres do you hunt?

I share a lease with my brother in law. It is just over 300 acres, about a 50-50 mix of unimproved pasture and woods. The woods are mostly oaks with a mix of cedar and mesquite. There is also a patch of cedar bottom that is about 25 acres. The owner of the property has a brother that hunts it about 2 or 3 times a year during rifle season. I am allotted about 150 acres for myself. My brother in law has been hunting this place for 20 years so he gets what he thinks is the good half, however with all the work I'm doing he may be in for a surprise!
