I just heard about it yesterday. I need to know who makes it. Anybody? I thinking of buying stock in the company---right after I buy the Thermacell.

can you wear it while it is burning or does it need to be laying flat? I just used mine last night for the first time and it worked great.

I haven't used mine yet, but I think I remember reading something about it having to lay flat for it to work correctly.

Interesting ............. Cablea's has them, I'll likely get one for this fall

i wonder ........... if guy placed them at, say, 8 requally spaced places around his yard and one or two in the middle ............ would that keep kids from getting bit ?

I'm down here in Florida too and I've used everything from 100% deet to avon skin so soft and bug suits and anything else you can think of. I would have never believed it if someone would have just told me. It is by far the greatest hunting invention in a long time. I use it in the most mosquito infested swamps in the middle of the summer and not one mosquito!! It works for everything from knats to black flys, but I did find one species of bright green horsefly that is totally immune to it. Those green flys will orbit you for hours and land right on the pad of the thermo cell. I thought the hogs were tuff!

I've heard a few times that they dont work very well in wind. Can someone elaborate on that a little further? Is it just strong winds? Any wind?

Can someone please post a link of the unit that works the best for us hunters? That would be great. Sounds as if many of us will be picking these up.
