Big buck killed in 1998
 
Did anyone see this buck a few years back it is huge?It was supposedly shot in Michigan and beat milo nansons world record but the guy mitch rompola never had it officially scored.

Correction, he did have it officially scored, he just didn't send the application in for approval.

It was officially scored by MI scorers but not the P&Y official scorers

Well he didn't have it officially scroed because he wouldn't allow them to x-ray it..............................but do we really want to open this can of worms again?????

It was never entered into the books. Experts came up with over a dozen things about the deer and the deer video that showed prove of the fabrication of the buck. He was even offered $10,000 just to get an x-ray of the rack, yet he refused to do so. You can take the whole "Rompola Buck" as it is.

Whether it's real or not, Mitch Rompola got what he wanted. He will forever be remembered by hunters everywhere. Just look how many times a year this debate comes up.

Mitch was famous before he shot that buck. It's been through all the testing , but I can't recall the out come . I think he withdrew it from the books and told them to get bent.
