RE: shouldn't have done this
If you think it's bad now just wait and see what your shoulders and elbows tell you after 20 years. Crank it down and leave the Testosterone at home. Shooting is supposed to fun.

RE: shouldn't have done this
If you have the adequate muscle and pull with the correct muscles you should be able to shoot for hours and not be sore the next day. Try exercising your lats and rear deltoid 2-3 times a week by doing rows and lat pulldowns, if you do this you will be able to pull 100lbs no problem.

RE: shouldn't have done this
I don't think there is anything wrong with bumping up some poundage if you are conservative and don't "over bow" yourself. If you're looking to pick up 10lbs before the season it might be just as well to take it in 2 5lb adjustments.
But tomorrow you'll likely feel fine and will end up shooting another couple of hours. Just make sure to give yourself a rest day in there and you should survive. Need some aleive? |
RE: shouldn't have done this
Putting those two scenarios together can definitely lead to a painful experience. I have done it as well.
