RE: What about two open eyes
Junk peep sights with tubes suck. LOL. They slow down arrow speed, and when you wreck your truck and can't find the inserts for your peep sight, and your stuck with small...it really sucks.
But I have never shot with two eyes open. Never. But I will give it a try tomorrow and see what goes down. I could be asking for a dollar donation from each of you if it goes bad. |
RE: What about two open eyes
Also, keeping both eyes open makes it easier to focus (ask your eye doctor)

RE: What about two open eyes
I switched to a no -peep this year and I love it. My groups are tighter, my bow is faster, and I can see my arrow flight. I also know if I'm torqueing my bow any. I havent used it to take a deer yet but I'll let you know soon.

RE: What about two open eyes
I've recently just started teaching myself to shoot a pistol with both eyes open. Sight recovery after the shot is much quicker. With a bow I still prefer to close one eye. I have had no detrimental effects from it so I will stay that way.
Some things are true whether you believe them or not. |
RE: What about two open eyes
I tried it last week and couldn't focus at all. I gave up pretty quickly on it. After reading all these posts, maybe I'll give it another try.

RE: What about two open eyes
I was at a 3D shoot when I discovered the two eyes are better than one. Especially during very shady conditions. Not only does it help tighten my group, but gives me a more birds eye view of everything.

RE: What about two open eyes
2 eyes work for me. its easier to see where the arrow hits and allows me to focus much better. HUNT SAFE
