anyone own a meopta spotting scope?
 
hey, does anyone here own a Meopta spotting scope. I am looking at getting one but would like some input on them..Thanks a bunch..;)

Either they are a relative newcomer or they are a small company. From what I remember reading about them they are European in nature and cost quite a bit. Try this board for more info.....

Meopta is a Czechloslovakian optics manufacturer. They are considered to be on par with Kowa and they cost quite a bit less. I do not own one but am told that they are top of the line and an excellant value.
I believe that the company has been in business for a very long time. They are a relative newcomer to the US with the westernization of Eastern Europe.
