I need some help
I am doing some bowhunting research. I am trying to find in which states it is legal to hunt at night with a bow and an artificial light source. Like in Texas you can spotlight varmits and predators at night. You can also shoot wild hogs at night with light because they are not a game species.
What can you do in your state? Legally of course. So I know alot of you folk are from all over the country, and if you dont mind helping me out. Id appreciate it. |

It's not legal in Idaho.

In Maine and New Hampshire you can watch animals with a spotlight but not if you have any sort of weapon in your truck.
The exception in Maine is you can apply for a predator permit that allows you to hunt yotes at night. |

Thanks those of you who have helped.

It is not legal in MO. In fact, one can not spotlight deer at anytime here as of a few years ago.
I doubt that it is legal in any state, but will be interesting to find out. |
RE: I need some help
I know a couple guys who hunt coyote at night (calling) with a spot light and rifle. I assume it would be legal to use a bow as well. Same goes for coon hunting , although your supposed to keep your gun cased until you tree a coon.
I'm in Wisconsin btw. |
RE: I need some help
Montana is not a good place to try that...

RE: I need some help
In Ohio you can shoot frogs at night, with a light, with your bow. During frog season ofcourse.
