Were all of those elk taken on public land in Colorado on your do-it-yourself hunts?

Very nice Data but your killing me. Why are they in the garage? Was it the wife's gentle screaming? :D

we just moved - most everything is still in the garage !

yes - all the elk were do it yourself, public land elk either backpacking in or using llamas. I've been pretty successful elk hunting.

The whitetails are all Kansas whitetails on land of ranchers I happen to know out there. Pronghorn was from South Dakota.

My bass weighed 11lb 9oz and 11lb 5oz but the second one was over 12 pounds I'm sure - the deliar didn't read it right because she was a 27" monster of a bass (turned it lose, thats a replica there)

Sorry. It was just a joke. I just read why you changed your name and can see you might be a little defensive. For the record I enjoy your post and replys and think you make some valid points. Nuff said.

Hope the move is going as well as it can. I know how hard it is for couples to work on their houses, it's what I do. More than I would have thought when I started, I find myself being a marriage counselor. For as long as I have been doing it, there has been only one couple that really had working together, down. He wanted to make her happy and she just enjoyed it. It was the a beautiful thing.

Nice wall bro! Thanks for sharing. I went fishing out of FLA with my buddy and his older bro and he caught a 91" sailfish. I have pics of the mount if you want to see em?

I love those largemouth, whats a replica mount of one of them cost.

Jim

nodog - the internet is a funny place. I use to debate a guy all the time on different issues on another site - we just didn't see things the same (go figure :D) and he started getting his stuff published in magazines a bit and became a memebr of the P&Y Club.

He dont debate anything anymore. Why ? Because things you say will ALWAYS come back to haunt you. Always. I suppose he posts under a different username so he can toss around things ....... but he knows not to be associated like that.

Same thing here in a way.

neck4752 - best we could tell my sailfish was like 130" and that replica is something like 112"

I'd love to see pics - gorgeous fish

IL-Cornfed - GEEEEEEEEEZ !

That's a nice collection and I also like to see a couple of Bass in a trophy room and it's even cooler that you released 'em! Congrats on the collection.

Whenever I hear about a "Trophy Room" or see a pic I always think of this photo of Rogers collection...... I couldn't imagine!!!

Honestly I wouldnt want a trophy room like Rogers. Theres to many heads and to cluttered looking. Hes killed alot of deer in his day, but most look like average size bucks. Whats the biggest that he has ever killed? I know he has done some hunting on a ranch down the road from mine.

There,s over 140 racks on those walls. You look like your in your 40,s. That,s a little over 3 deer a year since birth. Youe an awesome hunter and I know there were no high fences involved.
