Does anyone use quick spin fletching?

What would be better for stabilizing fixed broadheads, quick spin or helical fletching?

I use the four inch quik spin fletching, 400 max 4 beman, 100 grain head, 65 lbs and they shoot excellent i have never had a porblem with them

Depends if you'e talking regular vanes fletched helical or feather fletched helical. IME, the feathers do as good a job with less weight on the back of the arrow and a lot cheaper.

I'll second MIKE's Opinion... Feathers are still the BEST, except when it comes to durability and wet weather. But protect them, and your good to go.. And they look GOOD TOO.. lol

I shoot large Snuffers @ about 270 fps. The 4" QS work perfectly. I use very hard helical on these (I shoot a drop-away) and they stabilize my arrows much better than 5" feathers. Couldn't be happier.

Great question I used to shoot feathers on aluminum shaft, switched to carbon and went with plastic vanes and have thought about Quick Spins myself. Glad to hear feathers are still rating high!

Id be talking feathers. I still like feathers better than vanes. As of now I use simply a 4 degree offset with 4 inch feathers. Ive had no problems, but wanted to see what more spin would do for me. Im considering going helical or quick spin. Just needed more oppinions before I start building more arrows.

I used to shoot 4 in. helical feathers but I recently switched to blazers fletched helical. They are very quiet and steer my broadheads (either nitrons or mechanicals) just as well as the feathers. Now if your shooting a bigger broadhead like a big snuffer head or bigger fixed blade design, they might not work as well but I thought I would just throw another idea out there for you.:D
