RE: fletching coolors
If Im hunting early season(no snow on ground)my arrows are fletched with 2 white and a red.
If its late season(snow on ground)I stay away of the white, just blends into the snow way to easily.I like brite colors as well to see alot easier especially in flight.(pink, green, red, blue, purple)all in flourescents of course:) |
RE: fletching coolors
I use 2 white, 1 chartreuse (bright yellowish green)
|
RE: fletching coolors
2 bright yellow and one white year round for me.
|
RE: fletching coolors
I'm using 3 whites with a white/chartreuse wrap and a green nock. Works well for me.

RE: fletching coolors
Two flo red and one flo green, with an orange to red wrap.
|
RE: fletching coolors
3 white with white arrow wrap. This is the first years for doing this so we will see how it goes.

RE: fletching coolors
I am preparing to dip my arrows as I write this. I stick with all one color so I don't see a "cork-screw" illusion of the rotation in flight. Nothing to get excited about just one of my
idiosyncrasies... Over the white dip I will put all white or a fluorescent yellow or chartreuse. All of this helps my old eyes while the arrow is in flight and if I am looking for a spent arrow on the ground. In addition it helps with blood identification. |
RE: fletching coolors
I like red but I think white would probably show up better on the ground. I mighttry white this year.

RE: fletching coolors
I like dark colors. 2 barred orange and a black cock feather.I shoot Illuminocks so seeing the arrow is not an issue for me;)
